嵯峨面: 藤原孚石(ふじわらうせき)氏
継承と創作の上に立つ藤原氏ならではのほんわりと温かみとユーモラスさがにじみ出る面は700年の歴史の重苦しさを感じさせない柔らかさと軽妙の技。見飽きることがない。唯一の嵯峨面の匠としてまた、日本画家(藤原敏行)として活躍。京都嵯峨野在住。昭和17年生。

The origin of Mask back to 14C. Used for performance of Kyo-gen at Syaka-do temple. The original is made in in clay, then cast in plaster.Pieces of " Washi " paper are then layered onto that model. The basic form and expression of the face is same as original ever but the color is different. 
The real mask not fake has own tasty warmth and uniqueness.
